QuizBall is a football trivia game. This policy explains exactly what the app collects, why, where it is stored, and how you can get rid of it. It covers the QuizBall iOS and Android apps and the QuizBall website.
QuizBall is operated by the QuizBall team ("we", "us"). For any privacy question, or to exercise any right described below, write to support@quizbol.futbol.

We do not collect precise location, we do not read your address book, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. There is no advertising identifier in the app and no ad network.
"Country" is a value you pick from a list in your profile. It is not derived from GPS or from your IP address.
You can play most of QuizBall without an account. A guest session is anonymous: it has no email, no username you have given us and no friends list, and it is not placed on any leaderboard. If you later sign up, that guest session is upgraded into your new account and its progress carries over.
QuizBall runs on our own servers hosted with Hetzner Online GmbH in Helsinki, Finland (EU). Your account and gameplay data live there and are not sold, rented or traded to anyone.
Player photographs and club crests shown inside the games are loaded from third-party sports-data providers. Those requests carry no information about you beyond what any image request needs.
Account and gameplay data are kept while your account exists. Delete your account and they go with it — see the next section. Analytics events are kept for at most 35 days. Crash reports are kept for up to 90 days.
You can delete your account from inside the app: Settings → Account → Delete Account. It is immediate and permanent. It removes your profile, email, username, stats, level, rank, badges, friends, referrals, notifications, push tokens, analytics events and every duel and mini-game attempt you have played. Duels you took part in are removed for both players, because a match record cannot exist without its participants.
Deletion cannot be undone and we cannot restore a deleted account.
You can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, restrict how we use it, or object to our use of it. Write to support@quizbol.futbol and we will respond within 30 days. If you are in the EU or UK you may also complain to your national data protection authority.
QuizBall is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child under 13 has an account, write to us and we will delete it.
All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted with TLS. Access to your rows in the database is enforced per-user at the database level, and scoring is computed on the server so that a modified app cannot write results for anyone.
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page, and we will tell you in the app when the change is significant.
